Phil Hyland…

Like many of you out there, we are finding that working from home has a number of plus points - there is no commute, more flexibility and for most, huge cost savings. But it also has its downsides - most significantly its impact on our mobility.

Whilst we work from home, we’ve realised it is easy to sit for too long and move less. These new habits can have negative effects including bad posture and the new phenomenon, ‘tech neck’.

Edge wants to help maintain the health, safety and well-being of our people and looked to encourage mobility. One of the campaigns we introduced during lock-down was ‘Phil’.

Phil Hyland, a Transformation Coach, encourages us all to attend his twice weekly online fitness sessions. We are really feeling the benefit, whatever our fitness level, and ‘Phil’ is now a permanent feature in our culture and mobility.
