OVERVIEW

 

As part of the delivery of the ‘Vertical Village’ strategy that is central to the Twenty Two brand purpose, we were invited to lead the delivery of ‘The Exchange’, a programmable innovation space, event space and seed space on Level 7.

As a highly-flexible space, the solution focused on the use of furniture settings and curtain tracks to define spaces, rather than fixed cellularised space.

Built on-spec, Axa has now partnered with an operator who will run the facility as a JV.

Well-being and sustainability

  • Majority of the facilities such as showers and cycling spaces are part of the building and can be utilised by all staff. As part of the Level 7 and Level 7 mezzanine refurbishment we have incorporated biophilia throughout the space, we’ve made use of natural light everywhere possible as well as made sure the acoustics and noise levels are comfortable to the space users.

  • Use of natural materials with recycled content such as the fabrics, wood wool and felt panels cladding, carpets and vinyl that are 100% recyclable.

  • Conscious waste disposal during the construction phase.

of longstanding organisations, educational institutions and small-to-mid size businesses to come together to create and change.
