With the plan for the physical move clearly defined, The Crown Estate wanted to ensure that their workforce were fully engaged with the cultural changes required, to ensure the complete future success of the scheme.
The solution was to create a communication and engagement plan that supported The Crown’s ‘One Team’. The visual equity of the scheme considered pre-move design related decisions that visually tightened (through change in typographic style) on the lead up to move date. The whole
workforce were taken through a pop-up exhibition and furniture trial, in the newly completed CAT A space, to share with them how their input had helped shape the scheme. As part of this pop-up experience, staff were invited to view the concept for the first time. This included; viewing furniture and material samples to enrich the sensory experience and staff voting on the new café name, creating ultimate staff buy-in.
Post move, the internal communications team have been left with a communications template across print and digital formats.
